Question

How do you record movement of an image while dragging it by cursor?

Please watch this video see what do I mean:

In this video, the editor drags around the image and somehow records the movement, which is exactly what do I want to make. My first thought was that he recorded his screen while dragging the image in photoshop, but later in the video he managed to get rid of the photoshop guide line. I wonder how did he make this? (I tried motion sketch in AE, but it can only record position movement, not scale nor rotation.)

Many thanks in advance!

You have two options.

1. Animate it via keyframes in AE or Premiere.

2. Record it using some other app. SnagIt or Quicktime.

Either way it will work. Let me know if this answers the question. If not, I can respond with a how-to.
