How to add shapes?

Before the last update (October 2024) it was real simple. Go to the graphics panel, click edit. Insert a square, oval, or text, and there it was. Size, color, borders, shadows, fonts, outlines, was all RIGHT THERE in the panel. Now it's all gone. Text is managable through the properties window, which sucks. It's not streamlined, it's not convenient, but at least it's possible. I cannot find how to add a simple shape anywhere. The help section is worthless, can't find the answer anywhere else on the internet, so asking directly is the last option I have. Does ANYONE know where these simple controls have gone??

The Properties panel. Create a graphic "clip", then use like the T (text) tool to create a text item.

Select that, and now the entire (former EGP) controls appear in the Properties panel, including the layer stack, new items, everything.

Context aware ... is kind of odd, at first.

I agree. 2025 really screwed up the titles and graphics. Nothing is easy to find. It wastes time looking for answers and there are too many steps. Why Adobe?!

Actually, as much as I got annoyed at the change initially, virtually everything is there, in the Properties panel, and you just need to get used to the whole "context aware" ... as the controls will appear with the right part selected.

For most things same number of steps as before.

I hate this. I hate this so much. But you were right and after clicking on enough things I found the things I was looking for. Thank you. The only thing I can't find now is if I can embed this window as a panel somewhere in premiere pro so I don't have to keep moving this floating window that is always in my way. Can I do that?

I think there's a Graphics Workspace now ...
