Hello,
I've just started working with the live text templates in Premiere. I've downloaded some After Effects lower third templates, and I imported them into Premiere. I am able to get the live text templates to work, but I cannot seem to find an efficient way to alter the font or size of the text. This feature is important for my use because I am working with some individuals with very long names and titles. As it stands, the titles are simply cut off if they are too long.
Any help anyone can provide will be appreciated.
I apologize if this has been posted, but I scoured the web for some time, and I could not find a solution.
Thanks,
~Eliott !

I have wondered the same thing for awhile. I hope this is up at the top of the todo list for the next release.

So far the only way to do it is by creating expressions that are controlled by invisible text layers which you adjust in Premiere. I haven't dabbled in it personally but if you look around you should be able to find examples.

Thanks Retcon! I have a similar project coming up and I will try this method out. If I have some success, I will write a brief tutorial for others who are in similar situations.

yes please! Also, "tracking amount" would be very useful.
I got it working a year ago, and now I can't seem to figure it out... I Fumble my way thru expressions, and can barely perform basic functions... Anything that involves changing format types/ syntax is over my head.
Thanks!
David

Maybe ask this in the AE forum (After Effects ) so you can get some information regarding ways to alter font sizes using expressions.
