How to copy an item and paste an item quickly several time through the timeline?

I want to copy and paste an item that only shows for few seconds.... how can I copy it and do several posts at once until the end of the time for the same item?

Fast copy/paste is select and alt+drag on the timeline.

Contol + C for copy.

Then Control + V as many times as required for paste.
