How to edit like avid in premiere pro

Hi All,

This is pavan kumar  Im new to premiere pro.. i want to purchase premiere pro but i have some doubts before buying the product

my question is : in avid media composer i can load all the footage into one sequence then i can load the sequence into source monitor and i can choose my clips and inserts into timeline while inserting it come clip .. but in premiere pro i can do this process im getting sequence not clips is there any way to edit like avid in premier pro ???

Yes, this is possible in Premiere Pro.  There is a user option that allows inserting the media as a nested sequence, or as original clips.  (The left-most icon under the sequence timecode toggles this behavior.)

If you intend to switch, I do recommend you read the full Help file for the software before you start using it.  Questions like this will be answered and you'll find yourself having a much easier time of it.

It is the same process. Get the trial and see. You import the clips arrange them and drag to the timeline or the Load them to the source and set your I/o and inserts to the timeline. The same process. Get the trial full version and in 5days you will get all. Look for tutorial on Avid to Premiere Pro for the short cuts keys
