im a little new to premiere and i have a question
Over on the right side of the screen you see the blue past keyframes? how do i hide them because when im moving the face to track the original face/video they get in the way and i move them and it messes up the video. quick help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

I think what you need is to expand the timeline in the Keyframe section so you can see them with more space, perhaps?
See the bar at the bottom of the keyframe timeline window, with the two little circles at the end underlined in red here?
Click on either and pull towards the middle. This will "expand" the timeline shown and should provide you with some separation between keyframes.

That will stop me from moving the video/image with my cursor. is there a way to do that without those ugly highlights?

I know I'm a little late to this, but I too can't figure out how to get rid of the keyframe trail. However, I found it helpful to zoom in and place guides with the rulers, then make sure the anchor point matches up with where the guides meet/cross. Hope this helps!

For further explanation, have the ruler guides meet/cross where you intend to have the keyframed object placed.
