How to import Sony .ARW files into Adobe Premier Pro

Hi,

For some reason, Adobe Premiere Pro will not allow me to import my Sony .ARW video files....

I'm on a new MacBook Air, M1 chip. Please help!!

As I understand it not all Raw files are compatible with Premiere, You may have to import them into Photoshop and export as a PSD to iport into Premiere.

Is there an easier way to conver the files?

ARW is not supported in Premiere Pro.

Do you have a recommendation on how to convert the files?

You could import them into Lightroom and export them as Jpegs:

Or camera raw.

Adobe media encoder can batch convert.
