Hi everyone!
I'm trying to make a video with something like this from diving:

I've got the all the info from my divelog as the XML and SML file.

I would like to sync all the information with the correct timing, etc.

Can any one give me an idea, where should I start ? Thank you !

Hi @Marcin34691122l8rf,

Thanks for the question. I'd be interested in doing something similar with my e-bike and data I can get from my rides. What do you think of this idea, community?

For you, I'd look into using .mogrts using data driven animation. You would create those in After Effects. Here are some resources for you:

That should get you started. If you need more ideas, come on back and we can discuss them.

Thanks,

Kevin

if you are thinking of doing this for a long time, then invest in making a custom script to read the xml and make the video through automation which would save you a lot of time once the script is up and running. Or if its a on time thing then maybe make it manually or hire someone to do it for you. I usually prefer automating it since it will be useful for some other projects.
