I am tasked with inserting the subtitles (from the .SRT files that someone else is preparing for me), and these files contain Greek letter math formulas, from time to time (for example: mu = μ). I did a quick and dirty test in Premiere, and while the example for the formula above worked great, another random formula ended up with the square symbols in the text of the subtitle. Attached see examples of both. I am concerned that Premiere will not be able to hanlde everything that comes my way.
Does anyone have experience with this? Is there a solution that would make sure that each formula is always displayed correctly?

Podrías intentar que te preparen los textos en un .txt y no como .srt. Además, ya identificaste qué carácter es el que se convierte en letra griega?

Thanks, Byron! I didn't try importing as a .TXT file. Will Premiere import it? As far as which letters, take a look at the attached screen shot #02. Those were two random Greek letters that I tried and that didn't not translate well. That was a sign that some letters may translate better than others, but I need a consistent good outcome.

Try and use the letters from Symbol.

Are you burning in? Not all symbols are compatible with srt.
