How can I make a black background in PP transparant?? I do not have After Effects

Hey Ruud Scheidel,
You can do so by clicking on the wrench icon in the Program Monitor and selecting Transparency Grid. I have attached screenshots for a better explanation.

Transparency grid shows up grey (not in function) and not black . Moreover only the black background of the clip must be transparant , not the other coloured objects in the clip.

Depends on what you mean or want to achieve.
Background is a void and shows a black.

I did not mean the usal black background of Adobe , bust a videoclip which has a black background. Color key effect works on any clor , except black .

You can use the luma key.

It is a pity , did not work. Finally found the splution Effect Change to color from black to white , changing Hue, Lightness and Saturation.. Black changes in grey. This grey used in Color key.
