how to use an ellipse mask in the "Crop" video effect?

Hello,

Can anyone help me use the ellipse mask in the "crop" video effect? In my project, I want to show only a select, circular portion of my Video 2 layer. I imagine I could use the Ellipse mask, select the "inverted" option, and then it would only show that specific part of the layer, but it doesn't seem to be working. Am I doing something wrong? Should I be using some other kind of tool for this effect?

Try using the ellipse mask in the fixed opacity effect instead of the crop effect.

I did it applying the mask to the Opacity effect and it worked. Thanks!!
