Image jumps while adding motion with position and scale

Just downloaded the Premiere Pro 2023 and trying to add some motion to a still image using position and scale but everytime I do, the image jumps in scale and position instead of having a smooth motion throughout the entire clip.  Weird thing is I just tried exporting the clip and export looks fine, but watching the timeline in Premiere is bad.  I've attached video clips to show.  Is this a bug with the system?  I've tried closing out Premiere and rebooted my computer, but still have the same problem.

Welcome to the community, and sorry for the issue. Could you try clearing your Media Cache? For confirmation, which version of Premiere Pro are you using? Is it 23.0? Also, please share your system specifications (OS, OS version, CPU, GPU, RAM). Let us know if the problem persists after clearing the Media Cache.

I am running version 23.0...Just upgraded to it today and didn't have this problem before.  OS - Macbook Pro, Apple M1 Max, 64GB Ram.  Problem persists after clearing Media Cache....Kind of hard to finish an edit with jumpy images.

Could you reset your preferences, create a new project and see if the issue repeats?
