Importing captions from srt-file

I’m trying to import captions from srt-file, but Premiere imports only  231 captions of 722 (that is 26 minutes of total 1 h 39 min). Is there some limit or what´s wrong? What can I do if there is a limit?

Hmm...don't know, but try opening the srt in a text editor. See if there's more than one line break after caption 231, or some other formatting glitch.

I checked that and there is no "formatting glitch" between captions 231 and 232 so the reason is still a mystery.

I just ran a test on an SRT with 1800 captions, and it imported them all without issue.

I checked my file according to you advice and the tool made 54 changes. However, that didn't help my problem: Premiere still imports only  231 captions of 751.

Now I finally managed to get all done. I deleted captions 231–234 from the edited version and all the other captions went smoothly. Then I inserted these missing captions by hand. Thank you for assistance!
