in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

At some time in the future, probably.

Not all "sneaks" things from MAX ever make it into an app. And those displayed are still in moderately early development.

So it may be awhile before it makes it into the public beta.

Yes but I can't imagine a feature more in demand than automatic object selection in Premiere at the moment. 2 years late too.

"Yes but I can't imagine a feature more in demand than automatic object selection in Premiere at the moment."

We all work differently ... for every step of any process. Until you really grasp how differently we all are, statements like the above are rather common.

For some types of editing, tracked masks are routinely needed. Certainly! And this would be a huge help for anyone doing that.

But ... I can't remember the last job where I needed to track a moving mask. I know others who only rarely use one, like me.

But hey, doesn't everyone do color/tonal corrections? So then, my requests for massive upgrades to the color/tonal correction tools should be way high on the list, right?

Wrong.

Because the percentage of users that would actually use the tools I want, is pretty small in relative terms.

So ... would this be great? Sure.

Would everyone be using it? Not at all. I doubt a quarter of the user base would use it very often.

But for those, it would be a massive help.

We users have to remember though that everyone's mileage always varies.
