Installed version 12.0.1. Markers Moved by 2 frames

Explorer ,
Jan 24, 2018 Jan 24, 2018

I just installed 2018 version of PP.

When I opened projects, the markers were all move by 2 frames left (or before in time)

Example: If I had a Marker at 00:03:22:21. Now the Marker is at 00:03:22:19

If I had a Marker at 00:02:04:10. Now the Marker is at 00:02:04:8

Etc..

Anyone knows why this happened?

Reverted back to previous version.

Someone suggested its a drop-frame issue in a Sequence. But its happening to all projects.

Please reply if anyone has the same issue.

I am having the same issue!  In addition, ripple sequence markers is NOT WORKING for me. I have posted on this forum but haven't received any responses yet. I also submitted a bug report. This issue is making it almost impossible to continue my edit - very painful! PLEASE, if anyone has any suggestions or knows of a way to actually reach adobe for support with this issue - it would be greatly appreciated.

I am having the same issue with sequence markers. I have posted in this forum, submitted a bug report, called Enterprise support, consulted via chat all with no response and/or resolution. This is making editing hell!

This doesn't sound like an SDK-related question.  Moving to main Premiere Pro forum.

Well aside from a painful bug, I have one theory. Were you guys using variable frame rate video? And is this happening in 2018.0 or 2018.0.1? Because there was a change to how VFR video is interpreted and it COULD theoretically shift marker if they were clip markers. But it sounds like the issue you're having is with sequence markers and I dont THINK the change should impact that, but I want to try and narrow it down!

It’s with Sequence Markers.

no variable frame rate. Just simple 23.976. It’s the newest 2018.0.1

Can anyone test this, before and after they upgrade software with a test sequence and post results ?

Can anyone check if the Markers have moved in a project, after installing latest version?

not on my markers.

but, and worse, on SOME clips, all their cuts are moved away by exact 2 frames.

i have now to check, EVERY project, all my clips, if they r cut precisely and fix accordingly.

NO WAY possible to edit like this...

Hi maximus1105,

As I said in the other thread, we may be seeing this issue in updated projects since there was a code change for the markers feature, copy and paste sequence markers. I apologize for this behavior. Feel free to let the team know about your issue here: Premiere Pro: Hot (898 ideas) – Adobe video & audio apps

Thanks,

Kevin
