Is it possible to have the MultiCam icon in the Source Window?

Hi

I understand the process for doing a MultiCam sequence.  However, I am finding it problematic on larger videos, with multiple sequences done on several cameras.

Perhaps I am doing it wrong, so let me tell you what I am doing and you can correct me.

1)  I am creating a New Sequence with my MultiCam Session and it appears on my TimeLine.  After I have made my camera views/edits, I now have to copy/move that sequence into my primary timeline.  I am "guessing" that the only way to move this edited segment is to cut and paste?

2)  Like I do on a single camera take, I would prefer to have the MultiCam process on the Source Window.  I could then do my editing and camera views, then simply drag that marked sequence into the Time Line.  But, as mentioned, I do not see any way to get the MultiCam Icon to appear within the Source View

I'm running Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018

Multicam isn't cut in the Source Monitor, so no, you can't add that button.

I've found Copy/Paste to be the best method of adding multicam edits to a master sequence.

    Jim, that's helpful to know.  I've been using Premiere Pro CC for a few months and still very much a novice!  There's a lot of good tutorials on YouTube and while many detail how to do the MultiCam process (which can be dicey!), I have yet to see anyone document how to parse multiple MultiCam-Clips into a timeline.  I'd love to find out a better process than I am currently doing (because there must be one!)

    For Step 3, instead of creating a new sequence, nest the Source sequence you just created into your main sequence.

    After completing your multi-cam sequence, "nest" that sequence into your project sequence. I'm not understanding the wish to work in the Source monitor here ... ?
