Is there a Preferences fix for .mkv files with multitrack audio yet?

Dropping an .MKV video clip with multitrack audio embedded onto the new item icon creates a sequence that propagates the video track and all of the audio tracks that were recorded. That's great. But the audio sounds like Porky Pig on a bad day. I have searched for a setting that would fix this but have found nothing. When I drop the same clip into Davinci Resolve, it just works. Watch the attached video that demonstrates this issue.

The problem was in OBS. I discovered a pull-down list of available audio codecs, set it to AAC, and my problems were solved.

    Can you also download mediainfo navigate to the view menu and select "text" then share a screenshot of the media file properties of your file.

    There isn't an audio codec named "araw" ... and I use OBS a lot, simply using the mov option. Which works fine.

     

    So I'm curious what that audio format actually ... is. And again, simply change the audio in OBS and you should be good to go.

    The codec is araw. Given the popularity of recording podcasts in OBS with multitrack audio as well as the fact that it works in Resolve for far less $$$ than an Adobe subscription, you'd think they'd jump on this one and get it done. Looks like I'm being left behind again. That is, if that's the real issue here.

    What is the audio codec used on the MKV files? That's probably the problem ... the audio codec isn't fully supported in Premiere.
