I'm new to Adobe Premier Pro. I was wondering if there is a template that I can download and swap out photos and titles with my own content?

You can find some project templates with a web search, but in general, the pro NLE's don't tend to ship with project templates. It's kind of assumed you can and will want to just create your own projects.

Hi Jillrd - I have some free Premiere Pro Templates and Motion Graphics Templates at premieregal.com/store. The Motion Graphics Templates (.mogrt) can be installed in the Essential Graphics Panel in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017+ and the general Premiere Pro templates ship as project files.  Hope they help!

You best use Premiere Elements which has all that.

Somewhat dated now, but still some good information

PPro/Encore tutorial list http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1448923 has lots of tutorial links to help learn

Thank you! I tend to learn better seeing the backend of something in action and taking it apart and putting it back together again.

Hey, I understand ... that's what I like to do. Take something someone else built, tear it apart, see what makes it tick ... and then I know quite well how to do that myself.

The best way to do that in PrPro is to "meet up" with other editors, probably online, such as here or Creative Cow. Ask for details on how they setup projects, as many editors have standard practices and are more than happy to share.

A slick way is to set up your project's assets on-disc in a main folder/subfolders system ... Say the main folder is named for date/project, and has subfolders for Graphics, Stills, Footage, Sequences, Audio, any other type of asset you want to have its own structure/home in the project.

Now in PrPro, create a new project, and navigate to the main folder in the PrPro new project dialog for where the project file will "live". After accepting things, go into the Project panel ... nothing in it of course ... double-click on the 'Import' text in the middle of the panel, navigate to that main folder, "Import".

Now ... PrPro imports all assets using the subfolder structure to create "bins" ... virtual folders within the Project panel.
