Hello, I want to italicize two words in a sentence but by selecting my two words and italics, the whole sentence is concerned. Any idea, please ?

What Ann suggests should work. Can you try creating some new titles to see if the problem persists?

It works on a text layer but not with subtitles created with the automatic text tool.

Marco,

See my  post earlier in this thread regarding adding italics in the Program Monitor:

My guess is that you are editing in the Text Panel. And yes, it applies italics to the whole caption segment.

Use the Program Monitor/Essential Graphics Panel. Select just the part you want and italicize that.

Much thanks for this! I enjoyed the new Captions workspace, as it's a great improvement over the original, but I found myself needing to create separate Text in the Editing workspace whenever I wanted to add emphasis to a statement, such as adding italics or bold. I wish I knew about this method a LONG time ago. It just saved me a lot of time on this most recent project. Thanks again!
