Keep getting the "SYSTEM COMPATIBILITY REPORT" whenever i open premiere pro 2020

i recently bought a hp probook 640 G1 pc with an 8gm ram and a core i5 running on Windows 10 64bit, i installed premiere pro 2020 and whenever i launch the app it keeps showing me a system compatibility report which reads "unsupported video driver". My video driver is Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600, i upgraded it to version 20.19.15.5063 but it's still showing the compatibility report. I also tried installing the recommended driver from Adobe by clicking the "Fix it" button but while trying to install, it showed this error message "The folder doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device". Please Help!

That ProBook's CPU platform actually dated back all of seven years at this point. And Intel had effectively discontinued all mainstream support of all of its 4th- and 5th-Generation CPUs (your system has only a 4th-Generation CPU) as of 2016. That means that there have been only security patches to the drivers for such older CPUs since the very first release of Windows 10 came out back in 2015!

 

In other words, your laptop is now totally obsolete, according to Adobe, because Adobe merely chose to follow hardware manufacturers' mainstream support schedule(s). You have just completely wasted your money, when it comes to buying a laptop with video editing in mind. Why did you buy a laptop that's already nearly seven years old (hardware-wise) at the time of purchase?

I didn't know as at that time...what i saw online was that it was a good laptop for video editing as long as it was running on an 8gb ram and a core i5 or core i7, I didn't account for any other requirements. I guess i should have done more research. Thanks though for your help.
