Keyboard route to change transition duration

Any tips on how to change transition duration, or even just select a transition, WITHOUT using the mouse?

(-- I find adding smoothing transitions to audio tracks to be quite clunky in PPro compared to Avid (no dissolve dialogue where I can enter duration & custom offset, no head/tail fades, no 'add transition in-out' with option to overwrite or keep existing, to name a few) so looking for tips around this. --)

Actually there is...

CMD+COMMA (to enter prefs)

then 4 x TABS (for video transition)

or 6 x TABS (to get to audio transiition duration)
