If the Sequence Pane is in Focus all you need to do is start typing on the Number Pad to enter Time Code

Tip _ I have a Short Cut for the Sequence Pane.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in. There are many keyboard shortcut presets which are already available. Check them out: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/user-guide.html/premiere-pro/using/keyboard-shortcuts.ug.html

Let us know it helps.

Thanks,

Shivangi

I completely understand your question. Did you find an option for how to do that? I'm looking for the same.

I don't know of a way to do that. I'm pretty sure you have to click in the field first.

This area is where the mouse is pointed in my pic. I'm still looking for a way to activate this field with a keyboard shortcut. My workflow is like this: I have a bunch of in-out timecodes listed, I activate this field by mouse click, enter the timecode and Add Edit. And I go to activate this field again. Doing it with a mouse is a bit annoying. Maybe there are other solutions for that?

I thought that would work, but I wasn't sure. You see, my MacBook Pro doesn't have a number pad......

🙂 🙂

That's exactly my pain, too : ) Bought this "PRO" shiny thingy and can't be as pro as I would be with a dollar-cheap external numpad-equipped keyboard. Good headsup for the devs team (as well as all the other hundreds of headsups).
