Keyframe curves automatically

Hi everyone,

I'm working with the GoPro plugin effect and when I try to add a static keyframe to keep the same value, a curve is created automatically instead of keeping the value static in the timeframe I've selected. Normally this isn't an issue but for some reason this plug-in is giving me trouble. Photo attached.
