Lack of backward compatibility in the insta360 reframe plugin

I used to work with go pro fx reframe plugin to control 360 videos.
Te current solution that supported by premiere is insta 360 reframe V2.
But I need to open previous projects from recent years - and premiere forces me to convert project to 2025 version . as a result I can not view or re-edit these projects - all insta files taged as offline.
How can I load these projects?

We recommend that you contact Insta360; only they can provide guidance on their plugin versions, and upgrade recommendations.

It sounds like you need to reinstall the Insta360 plugin(s).

HAHA

The old version of GoPro FX Reframe is still available to download from GoPro's website, and still works well in Premiere Pro 2025. If you're editing Insta360 files straight out of camera, you'll still need to have the Insta360 plugins installed in order to view and edit these files, but you can reframe them with GoPro plugin if you want to. If your Insta360 files are showing as offline, I'd start with reinstalling the Insta360 plugins, and then, if needed, reinstall GoPro FX Reframe from this link: https://community.gopro.com/s/article/GoPro-FX-Reframe?language=en_US

Note that "GoPro Reframe" at the top of the page is GoPro's newer plugin, but if you scroll down, "GoPro FX Reframe" is the old plugin — and it does still work! So if you're opening a project with keyframing already applied using the old plugin, you'll want to make sure you re-download the old version so you don't have to redo all your work again.
