Live audio input monitoring

Hey,

It seems Premiere doesn't allow live input monitoring unless you stard a recording and uncheck the box mute input during recording. I can check the box show input only for my meters, but it doesn't send that sound to the mix and I can't hear it. When I try to workaround this issue trying Sonobus on a track getting live sound in premiere this way, it also blocks the sound from getting in. The plug-in AUNetReceive from Apple isn't even accessible in Premiere when AUNetSend is. So my question is... is Premiere deliberatley blocking everything that has to do with monitoring live sound inputs? Kinda frustrating

Sorry for the struggle with the audio. What kind of live audio are you trying to be monitoring? A VO? I can route my signal to my headphones when recording a VO. Is that what you are looking to do? Let me know!
