Does someone know if Premiere Pro does work under OSX 10.10 Yosemite? It does start but when i select new project and confirm the settings it crashes. Not with the same error that AE does though.
I had some mission non-critical time to give it a try on my work machine. To date all my CC apps work fine under 10.10 (Pr, AE, Au, AME, Lr, Sg, Ps, Ai, Id, Mu). I did have a few unexpected quits with AE the first few times I edited a dynamic link but it seems to have settled down and is stable now. Legacy apps like FCP 7 and DVDSP work fine for me too.

I am trying to simply DRAG a title frame into the sequence (as I have done before and expect) and REPEATEDLY get an immediate crash of the application.

Hi Ginajack2014,
Is this with a new project or an existing one? Can you try the same process with a brand new project and let us know if the same thing happens?
Thanks,
Kevin

Kevin,
Thanks, its in a NEW project wtih only 19 items in the tray; not a big one and it repeats consistently. I am attaching screengrab of the error message and can send the error report privately, if necessary. Java and Shockwave have been updated.
Please advise.

Kevin,
Sorry, I answered your question before I rebooted the system (after updating Java and Shockwave and shutting down PhotoShop) its clear now.
Thanks for your promptness, nonetheless.

No worries. I should have suggested this as I had the very same problem and solution with SpeedGrade. Glad you are up and running!
Thanks,
Kevin

Did the "Media Pending" issue at startup get fixed? I'd sure like to go back to using Premiere Pro CC 2014 on Yosemite...

Hi Dave,
I have the same issue. If I wait a couple of minutes (rather than force quitting) the footage appears. This happens with DLSR, AVCHD and R3D footage.

I tried Shift+Option while opening premiere to trash prefs and reload plugins but I have the same issue after that. It takes a couple of minutes before my footage appears. I should mention that this only happens the first time I open premiere. If I close premiere and re-open it, the footage shows in the monitor window right away.

Same here. Running on Yosemite, Mac Pro 3,1 graphics card ATI Radeon 5770. Footage is Prores HQ and AVCHD (Canon C100) mixed.
"Media Pending" on startup and in 2-3 minutes footage appears. Luckily, I am not working in my studio with a client right now, otherwise it would be really annoying and unprofessional... Any fixes?

I still have the same issue and on 2 different machines, a 2011 iMac and a 2014 MacBook Pro. The one saving grace is that it only seems to happen the first time I open a project. If I close it after giving it time to figure itself out, all subsequent times work fine until I reboot.

Yeah, same here. Not a huge problem but Adobe needs to address this issue for sure.

I'm looking to buy a new MacBook Pro, can anyone 100% confirm whether or not CS6 Suite will operate on Yosemite? Going to be looking else where for a new computer if it doesn't.

I applied the most recent OS X update (10.10.2) and I don't know if it's a coincidence or if there was a specific fix included but the first project I opened after the update seems to work well. I see previews right away. I will monitor in the next few days and update this thread.

Has anyone had luck running PPro CS6 on Yosemite and it being able to read R3d RED footage? I've done a clean install, I've cleared preferences, I tried re-installing RED drivers and nothing. Media offline and "unsupported or damaged file" messages.

Hi Kevin,
Yes, everything has been updated. Is there something I'm missing? I've gone over this so many times I think I've done all my troubleshooting options but still no luck. Are others able to get CS6 to read r3d footage?
I really appreciate your help on this.

This issue also happened to me on CS 5.5 on two separate machines. On Mavericks, RED MX media worked fine in Premiere and After Effects, but the Yosemite update broke R3D support. No success with an uninstall/re-install of the suite and RED Camera Plug-in utility from Adobe Labs.
