Make transparent background using PNG

Hi,

I have a PNG of a candle flame which I animated  in Premiere Pro to look flickering.  How do I export this with a transparent background?  Thanks.

Prores or cineform or QT with animation codec.

Alpha channel enabled.

    Thanks Ann, I tried that and got a nice transparent MOV file, but then I tried to use the MOV file in another video and when I exported it the transparency was gone.  Is there some way to use my transparent MOV files in another type of export?  Thanks.

    Nope, you always need a format with an alpha channel if you want to keep transparancy.

    H.264 is not one of them.
