Making product reviews scroll together in my video

Hello,

I am towards the end of editing my adverstisement and I wanted to try to make the reviews that I have on the product scroll on the bottom of the video horizontally as there are people talking behind it. I have 7 pictures in 1:1 format that I want to add together in a line that that are touching and enter and exit the screen, however I am unsure of how to combine these individual pictures and make them all move at the same time. I have tried nesting them with them stacked on top of eachother in the sequence and also next to eachother horizontally but this just makes a slide show. Can anyone help me out with this? Thank you.

Nest them and keyframe the position of the nest in the main sequence.

Hi @Max3329680148iy,

Thanks for the question. This is kind of tricky, but it is best done in After Effects.

  1. You can pull it off in Premiere Pro in the Essential Graphics panel. This is a pretty rare technique.
  2. First, create a dummy title or import a clip from the New Layer icon in the panel.
  3. Import more source clips into the Essential Graphics panel. Alternatively, you can also grab assets from the project panel and place them in the stack.
  4. Then you set each layer at equidistant values along the X axis.
  5. You can use the Program Monitor to grab all the layers, move them off screen, and then add an initial keyframe by clicking the "cross" icon for the X value.
  6. Then, move the playhead to the end of the animation and then drag the images off screen to the left side of the screen.

Your scrolling animation is now done, much as you would do it in AE. I hope that makes sense. You have to try it to see how it works.

Let me know if you have questions.

Thanks,
Kevin
