Markers in Premiere Pro 2017.0.1 Release (build 11.0.1 (6) cannot be exported to TEXT.
There is a menu option that pretends to be working. In other words, the export to text dialog box shows up and it even says that the export was successful.
However when I go and see if the file is in the Finder, there is nothing there. No text file was exported and there is no similar data.
On the other hand, the option to export as CSV and HTML works properly, however I have text in the markers that contains commas and the CSV becomes unusable when exporting text that contains any commas.
I need to have this feature working so I can see the markers' text with grammatical punctuation as typed in the markers.
Removing the commas would be a pain in the neck since I have lots of comments written correctly and using commas and other punctuation marks.
Can someone help or provide a work around?

I can replicate your issue with the non-existent file when trying to export a .txt file.

The more people that file, the better.
Are you trying to get the export into a spread sheet?
You can export as HTML then, in Excel, import the HTML. You'll need to delete the css stuff that will appear in the first column.

I am trying to export the simplest form of data for later manipulation, but the export to TEXT doesn't work and the CSV export will look at my commas and tries to split the text in unwanted segments making the whole thing a mess.
I am trying to use the XML export which is much simpler to parse than the html. –I'm still working on it.
Thanks,

I'm having the EXACT same issue now - 8 months later and still not fixed. Absolutely ridiculous.

Same issue here... I need to export hundreds of markers, but no .txt. file will appear. Maddening. I also filed the bug, thanks for the link.
