Masking isn't masking

I have a mask on one of my clips but it isn't masking anything. I can see the outline of the mask, but nothing is dark around the mask or inside the mask. Any ideas?

You have invert checked on the first mask. Pr's masking system unfortunaly does not support multiple masks in a normal way (like Ae does for example). So always try to avoid inverted masks, or only invert the last one in the stack.
