Hello everyone,
I'm finding I used to be able to mask more easily in Premiere. You used to be able to drag your cursor around several points on a mask to move those points together. This doesn't seem to work anymore which is very frustrating as it's resulting in wonky masks without straight edges.
Thanks in advance!
FYI, this marquee select issue should now be addressed in 24.3, which was just released.

Thanks for reaching out to us.
Could you kindly share since which version you had started noticing these issues?
Also, a recording of the issue would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

@Robbie34135385e7mh If you hold shift and click on the points of the mask they should move in tandem with one another?
Does that help?

Moving them together works but selecting the points is difficult without being able to drag around them as it seems to kind of jolt them. I don't know how else to describe that, I may upload a video when I have more time. The only way to accurately select a point without that happening seems to be if you hold shift, which is not helpful when you already having other points selected that you don't necessarily want to still be selecting. Not sure if that makes sense.

Holding shift might work for a few vertexes but not for a bunch of them.

This issue is very intermittent.
Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not.

There was an issue introduced in 24.2.x that broke marquee selection of mask points. This issue has recently been addressed and can be verified in 24.4 beta.
