Media Encoder Won't load from Premiere Pro CC18

When I try to export a project from Premiere Pro CC18 to the Media Encoder, nothing happens?

The Media Encoder doesn't load to project from PP.

The only way that I can get a project rendered, is straight out of PP, which of course means

that I can't keep working in PP, while the rendering is going on, which is a bit of issue,

considering the time it takes to render a bigger project in various rederings.

Hope somebody can help me out?

Thanks

I've got the same problem. Both versions (premier and media encoder) are up to date, but when queued, an error message tells me that Media Encoder is not installed... but it is. Help please.

Uninstall both programs and Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

then reinstall. See how that goes.

Today is Oct 30, 2018. I'm having the same problem now. I got the last update which is Premiere Pro 2019. It was working well, but today it won't. I'm exporting with different settings from Premiere Pro, but Media Encoder opens and then, nothing happens. I did the uncheck of "Import sequences natively", quit Media Encoder and tried to export from Premiere Pro... Media Encoder opens, but again, nothing happens.

Hi michaelbeen,

When I try to export a project from Premiere Pro CC18 to the Media Encoder, nothing happens?

  • What are the steps that you follow to queue your sequence tom Media Encoder?
  • Are you able to launch Media Encoder separately (from applications)?
  • What is the exact version of Premiere Pro and Media Encoder (check from the help menu)?

Thanks,

Kulpreet Singh

When i try to queue my sequence from PP to Media Encoder

File>Export>Media

then I make my export settings, which may vary from film to film.

When I then press Queue, Media Encoder opens up,

and nothing more happens?

And yes, I can open Media Encoder from applications...no problem.

The Premiere Pro CC 2018 version is: 12.0.1 (build 69)

The Media Encoder CC 2018 version is: 12.0.1 (build 64)

My computer is an IMac 4Ghz Core i7, Retina 5K, Mac OSX 10.13.3 (High Sierra).

It has been the same issue for the last couple of updates.

Thank you for the additional information, michaelbeen.

Launch Media Encoder, click on Media Encoder CC > Preferences > General and deselect Import sequences natively.

Let us know if that helps.
