I need to export a report with this metadata from my premiere file which has about 300 clips:

- timecode of each clip

- duration of each clip

- start and end time of each clip within the source

I'm preparing a spreadsheet in order to have certain assets validated and it's something a computer could do way better and fast then me lol.

Please send help.

I'll be here until 2025.

Thank you.

Exporting an edl might also give you what you want.

This is a perfect job for Automation Blocks.

I recoreded this tutorial for you showing how I created a custom script in 10 minutes, which exports the data you need to a spreadsheet:

The script I create in the tutorial is attached. You can load it in Automation Blocks (also in the free trial) and just run it.

Extra tip: make sure the spreadsheet file does not exist, yet, if you run the tool. If it exists already, Automation Blocks will append the new spreadsheet data to the existing file. Of course, you can also add a block to the beginning of the block script, which deletes the file if it exists, but I wanted to keep the block code simple.

Absolutely.

The Get Clip Parameter Value block can retrieve any clip parameter, also the texts or mogrts.

I don't have a tutorial for exactly this, but here is a tutorial showing how to set the text of mogrts based on a spreadsheet.

https://docs.mamoworld.com/automation-blocks/tutorials-pr/mogrtFromSpreadsheet

This shows you how to access a particular text of a mogrt (setting and getting is works similar).
