Migrating multiple projects

New Here ,
Oct 13, 2022 Oct 13, 2022

I've got over 200 proj files that need to be consolidated and migrated to an external drive.  Does anybody know a way to automate this? Or do I need to migrate each project individually?  I feel like there's got to be an easier way...

Hi,

I'm not aware of a way to automate this but you could open multiple projects in Premiere and move the content/bins into one project?

I know it's a lot of manual work but could be done maybe over a weekend 😉

Also, always a good idea to check the integrity of the consolidate after the migration...  There are things that can go wrong and certain workflows if I remember correctly are just not compatible with consolidate...  Just do a search here for "consolidate"

Hi Jeremy,

I am not aware of a technique to pull this off. Sorry. There is also a Project Manager third-party plug-in from Autokroma, PlumePack. That may provide a faster and more convenient way to consolidate footage and store projects.

Thanks,
Kevin
