I have a few questions about MOGRTs in general and some that may be specific to a MOGRT I am working with. There are NO keyframes in premiere for this template, so I can't do the following myself, I basically have no control over many aspects of this file.
1. I want to set in and outpoints for video clips when I am replacing media in the template. I have tried many times, by using the in point selector under the clip in the essential graphic panel as well as marking an in point when the clip is in the source monitor, but Premiere seems to choose a random in point. What am I doing wrong here? Is it setting the inpoint of that clip to the beginning of the entire emplate, so that by the time that portion of the template is on screen it's very near the end of the clip?
2. When I place a MORGRT in the timeline, it sets the length of the clip to the whatever is the default. If I drag to make the clip longer or shorter, each section of the template changes its timing accordingly. But what if I want to ONLY change the timing of one section of the graphic? For instance, I am working with a opening title that is a collage. Most sections of the graphic have multiple images, one section is for a single full screen clip. Is the only way to change the timing of THAT section to cut it out and separate it from the rest, then change the timing for that one piece?
3. Related question: If I have isolated a section of the clip that I want to make longer, and THEN would like to continue on to the next transistion and graphic section and I again drag the end of the MOGRT to do that, it doesn't proceed on to the next graphic, it just lengthens the current graphic. Is there a way to specify when changing the length of a MOGRT that I want to LENGTH that clip within the graphic, or I want to proceed on with the rest of the MOGRT at that place? I hope this makes sense.
4. Can you re-order the sequence of the graphics: For instance, in the one I am using, it starts with a 3 image layout, transitions to a single, then another single, then a 3 image (the reverse of the first). If instead of 3-1-1-3 I wanted to go 1-3-3-1 how can I do that.
5. Media replacement question: When I replace the media in the graphic template, what I see in the essential graphics panel is not what I see in the program monitor. Why is this? I did resize the overall template to be 4K instead of HD. Is that why? Is there a better way to do this? I have added 2 images to illustrate this point.
