Motion path not visible

For some reason I cannot see the wire frame or the motion path in premiere pro. I have tried everything I can think off such as resetting the preferences, enabling show key frames, and much more. Ive been trying to fix this for over 4 hours now with no luck.

Select the Motion effect in the Effect Controls panel when the clip is selected in the timeline.
