.mov files not supported after upgrade?

Explorer ,
Aug 12, 2018 Aug 12, 2018

I just upgraded my Premiere Pro CC 2018 to v12.1.2 (Build 69) and now when I attempt to open a file that I was previously working on just prior to the upgrade, Premiere Pro tells me that my .MOV files are no longer supported.  Exact error message is, "File format not supported."

okay thanks for the news - so basically, we can't use Bridge if we have any (.mov) files backed up from our iPhones and use them in our videos because they are all wrapped up in the dreaded (.mov).

I've been trying for a long time to organize the thousands of videos I have with Bridge and got tired of it freezing all the time.

All I want to do is find a program that can allow me to see files like (.psd), (.mov) all in one program so I can organize the family albums and use the files for video projects.

I am baffled that Adobe can't allow us access to these videos. The only way I can use Bridge is if I remove all the (.mov) files to another computer or create another hard drive just for (.mov) files.
