Normally this works fine, but I'm getting an Mp3 preset export error (see attached).
Premiere Pro, 24.3.0 (Build 59)
Macbook Pro, 2021, Apple M1 Pro, 16GB Ram
Update: wow, so I tried going to "select more presets" and then re-selecting the same preset from the master list and that worked. And it seems now when it defaults to that in the recent presets list it works in general.
So this is solved now.

Hello,
To troubleshoot the MP3 preset export error you're encountering in Adobe Premiere Pro follow these steps:
Restart Your System: Begin by restarting your MacBook Pro. Sometimes, a simple reboot can resolve software-related issues.
Check for Punctuation Marks: Ensure there are no special characters or punctuation marks in the media files, project file name, or the output file name. Rename files if necessary.
Free Disk Space: Make sure you have enough free disk space on your MacBook Pro to accommodate the export process.
Export to a Different Location: Try exporting your project to a different location on your machine to rule out any issues related to the specific destination folder.
Export to a Different File Format: Attempt exporting your project to a different file format instead of MP3 to see if the issue persists.
Adjust Project Settings:
Change Export Preset: If you're using a custom export preset, try switching to a built-in preset within Adobe Premiere Pro.
Remove Third-Party Plugins or Transitions: Temporarily remove any third-party transitions or plugins from your project to identify if they are causing the export error.
Export Directly from Premiere Pro: Instead of using Adobe Media Encoder, export directly from Premiere Pro. This simplifies the export process and allows you to monitor the progress within Premiere Pro.
Convert Problematic Files:
By following these troubleshooting steps and exporting directly from Premiere Pro, you should be able to diagnose and resolve the MP3 preset export error effectively on your MacBook Pro. If the issue persists, further investigation into specific project details or file dependencies may be necessary.

Thanks!
- Restarted system, same error.
- No punctuation.
- Plenty of disk space. Over 350GB.
- Different location produces same error.
- Different file format does work, I can export an MP4. (However, I also need to be able to export Mp3 version for clients.)
- Project settings are frozen to GPU render (greyed out cannot change).
- Export preset are Premiere built-in.
- Error occurs before even choosing Premiere or Media Encoder export.
I haven't tried conversion yet but will let you know. In the meantime just used Adobe Audition for convertion to MP3 but would be helpful to have built into Premiere fixed for the future.
