Hi kavini_7384,

Welcome to the community! The MTS issue is different from the one originally posted in this thread. Could you please elaborate on the issue you are experiencing with MTS media? Are you getting white noise in audio, or is it something else? We're here to help, we just need more info.

Thanks,

Sumeet

Hi,
I'm currently facing an issue while working with an .MTS file in Adobe Premiere Pro. When I try to import it into the timeline, only the video is showing up—there’s no audio track being imported along with it.
I’ve confirmed that the original file does contain audio when played in external media players like VLC, so the issue seems to be specific to Premiere. I’ve also tried re-importing the file and checking the audio tracks on the timeline, but no luck so far.
Please let me know if there’s a recommended way to resolve this or if we should consider converting the file to another format before editing.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks for sharing the details. Could you please confirm if you are using Pr v25.2 or earlier? If so, please try loading the media in Source Monitor to check if you hear any audio when you play it there. Also, we're working on an ongoing issue where the audio from MTS media in Premiere Pro has white noise in v25.3. If you are experiencing this audio noise issue, you may revert to v25.2 as a workaround.

Thanks,

Sumeet
