HI,

I have this problem like others.
Premiere Pro in multicam mode, at double speed or higher, does not stop until it reaches the end of the timeline.
I tried on one monitor, on two, with proxy, video quality on 1/8, nothing helps, just run and run.
Can't use it just waste time and customers are waiting for the video
Intel Core I9, 64 GB RAM, Nvidia RTX3070. Separate SSD for each, operating system, cache and footage.
In Davinci Resolve it works without problems on the same system.
Now in version 23.2 the problem still exists.
Please solve the problem, in this case it is just a waste of time and money.

I'm having a similar problem.

When in multicam, sequence becomes inresponsive.

23.2 fixed the slowing down of he sequence, but this problems remains.

Mac Studio M1 Ultra 64 GB RAM

Footage is on a server (350 TB, full SSD) connected via 10 Gb ethernet.

Same problem for me. 23.2, Win 10, 5900x, 64GB RAM, SSDs, 3060, using proxies (Cineform Medium Quality), restarting premiere sometimes helps for a couple of minutes, the problem also seems to "build up" sometimes, e.g. you feel the unresponsiveness increasing with every command / cut until it reaches a threshhold and becomes the usual unstoppable train.

This is just inacceptable. We are wasting so much time (thus money) looking for and using (ineffective) workarounds instead of using the professional software we are paying for to actually get work done. This has been an issue for almost a decade, Adobe, WHEN are you fixing this?
