Music Problem

New Here ,
Feb 04, 2017 Feb 04, 2017

Every time I browse through my music in the Media Browser or import it into a project in Premiere Pro CC 2017, the audio track gets cut in half. The second half contains nothing, while the first half skips and seems to play over itself, off-beat. Every audio file I check is like this. I have tried cleaning the cache, deleting all files in the Common/Media Cache... folders, and rebooting Premiere Pro while holding Shift + Alt. I have a project due soon and need this issue fixed. Thank you for all of your help.

Here is a screenshot of the half audio track.

The red exclamation mark has gone, so I'm not sure what it said. I converted the mp3 to .wav using Audition and it works perfectly! Thank you so much for your quick reply.
