MXF file read error in After Effects and Media Encoder 24.3

This as raised it's ugly head again!
Latest update of AE, ME 24.3 can't render (shows as missing with colour bars) for MXF files. They display fine in After Effects. Send the job to media encoder and no Joy.
This is really frustrating, as we are a broascast organisation with100's of daily deadlines and work-arounds are not acceptable. OP1a MXF files are the only compatible format to seamlessly intergrate into our broadcast environmnet.
Please fix this, and stop re-introducing old errors into new updates. We are not your BETA testers.
Please fix it ASAP. Thankfully we only have one machine that has updated to this version,
Thanks
Brett

Hey Brett,
I understand how frustrating this must be. Could you share the source of your files and which OS you're using? Please also share the error message you see. We'll look into this for you.
This post was split from a discussion to gather more details. (https://adobe.ly/3UuC1vr)
Thanks,
Ishan

Hi
OK, so Windows 10. Source of the files is either Adobe Apllicactions (render to OP1a MXF) or Grass Valley Edit or Server (quantel).
We have had this issue before. We are currently in a holding pattern on updates until this is addressed, as literally 1000's of projects/compositions contain MXF vision in some form or another.
Vision shows up in AE, but is BARS in Media encoder.

I have this same problem,
step to repro
drop some MXF files in AfterFX 24.3
export to media encoder 24.3 or higher
result Colorbar instead of the MXF content.
This problem also occurs with 24.4.1, although AME warns for missing files then!
AfterFX internal rendercue works fine with these files.
After some testing I found following,
AME works ok with al versions
AfterFX 24.2.1 is ok, any higher version gives problem with MXF files sending to AME.
Export to a Premiere project is fine, no missing MXF
WORKARROUND
use AFterFX rendercue
system Win10 Pro
