Nope. My progress bar still isn't moving and the preview screen's timer isn't running smoothly.

Reset preferences and trash media cache.

reboot machine

And or make a new project and import old one.

See how that goes.

I can get it to work, but the timer and bar don't move smoothly on the timeline. The timer in the preview window runs just fine. If I switch to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only in Project Settings and uncheck GPU Accelerated UI Rendering in Preferences the Bar and timer run smoothly, but they flicker. Also, when I first load a project with those 2 options changed the imported media files all flicker for a couple of seconds. This is V25, as I have not updated to the latest version yet. Everything was working just fine 4 or 5 days ago - Then when I booted the program yesterday I noticed the issue. It's every project in V25, whether it's a previous project that I open or a brand new project. I also have V24.6.4 and I don't have this issue. I updated my GPU drivers after I started having this issue - I have an Nvidia Geforce RTX 4090, i9 CPU and 64gb ram and Win 11. Now I did get a Windows update the other night...I had my project open and when I came back to the room my PC had rebooted and installed the update, but it caused an issue where I couldn't log in to Windows because my login id had been corrupted. Yesterday was the 1st time I had opened Premiere Pro since that happened. IDK if the update caused a compatibility issue with Premiere?

None of the weird "fixes" have worked for me, either - such as opening a Preview Area in the Media Import Window and going to Workspaces and clicking on Reset to Saved Layout.
