My VoiceOver is being automatically enhanced

Hi everybody, I'm having a problem, when I record a VoiceOver inside Premiere it sounds really bad or like if it's being enhanced. I made sure that the right microphone input is selected like you can see in this image:

So the mic is not the problem. The reason why I feel like it's enhancing it is because the input test bar doesn't move when I make a sound that is not a word.

The thing is that I don't want my VoiceOver to be enhanced, I've tried everything but it is still sounding pretty bad.

I don't know what to do, if somebody can please help me.

Your mic input is set way too low. You should be up to at least -15dB on recording from a "studio" setup. Then you can easily gain it to whatever your final needs are.
