Need a quick way to navigate timeline

Is there a way to quickly toggle between two zoom level on the timeline?

The closest I found is the shortcut keys "=" and "-" that zoom in or out one step. I want something quicker. If there is a video control surface that allows me to navigate the timeline quickly with left hand, that would be awesome. E.g. a knob to control the zoom level and another knob to pan the timeline

Go to your keyboard shortcuts and search for "Zoom to Sequence". If it doesn't have an assigned shortcut give it one. Then get your sequence zoom level how you want it for let's say your zoomed out view. Then zoom in how you want it. Now if you hit your Zoom to Sequence shortcut it should toggle back to your zoom out view.

Works! It's assigned to the backslash key (above enter) by default. Thanks.
