Need help removing time stamp or graphic on video

I've been going at this for hours trying to remove this time stamp at the bottom right of the page and masking isn't working either. Any advice?Screenshot (359).png

Why isn't the mask working? Does the person overlap the timecode?

This was a quick fix I did in Premiere. I duplicated the video onto track 2, croped the top left corner and rotated it to bottom right. The I added a bit of brightness in Lumitry.

Mask is not working as there are several in one clip with one of them being inverted.

I would go for Richards solution.
