Need version 12.1.1

New Here ,

Hello, I need to install Premiere Pro version 12.1.1 on a new computer for my wife. This is the version they are using at school for a project and what she has on her old Windows PC at home. She is a creative cloud subscriber but the CC application does not give us the option to install 12.1.1. We could either install 12.1.4 (the lastest), or under "manage", only 12.1.2 was listed (as well as some 11.x.x versions). Considering how poorly Premiere handles projects between dot releases, it's of course only practical to use the exact same version when working on a project with multiple computers.

So Adobe, where can we get the installer for 12.1.1?  It was there a few weeks ago and now it's gone. The school is not going to upgrade in the middle of a semester, so this is the needed version.

Alas there is no other way.

12.1.2 is the only one you can download

You can install 11.1.4 the last for 2017.

I appreciate the reply. That's pretty unacceptable on Adobe's part.

I have the same issue.  A client came to me and has asked me to use the 12.1.1 version.  I have only the later 12.1.2 which will not allow me to open the project.  I downloaded the 11.1.4 for the last of 2017... and it won't open the project template they gave me to work with.  There is no option for downloading the 12.1.1 version.  I'm frustrated because as a small post production vendor I come across this issue allot.  My clients expect me to mirror the versions they use in house and often send me pre-built project templates.  If Adobe makes it impossible to backward convert projects they should at least make all versions downloadable.    Can anyone from Adobe come up with a work around?  So far I'm at a loss.

Ann this does not help me.  Because I need to open the project in 12.1.1 since the client provided it to me.  I can not open it in an earlier version or the 12.1.2 version.  Is there a work around?  This is costing me money.

Agreed, 12.1.2 should have no issue opening 12.1.1 projects.

A dot release such as 12.1.1 > 12.1.2 would typically only have a few very safe and important bug fixes. VERY different when compared to a major releaser with many changes such as 12.1.2 to 13.0.

I'd actually recommend using the 12.1.2 or even the 11.1.4 releases as they're safe and minimal bug fixes that have already been proven.

Hi Wes,

I guess you didn't read the above issue I am having.  The client has asked me to use their project which was created in 12.1.1 and send back the final project to them in 12.1.1.  So I can not use 12.1.2 or they will not be able to open it on their end.  I also can not open the project in an earlier version.  So please tell me if you know a work around or make all versions available until Adobe figures out a way to solve this issue.

I find that big studios are slow to update to the latest version of Adobe per their own internal IT people.  While my commercial clients want me to work with the very latest versions which truthfully I also prefer to be on the latest version.  I'm a small post production vendor.  I have to be able to accommodate whatever my clients asks for.  Most of the studios demand that we mirror what they do in house.

Please let me know what Adobe can do to help me solve this issue.

Get your client to update to 12.1.2.

12.1.1 is no longer available for download; end of story.

Ann Bens,

Your response is not only rude it's disrespectful and unprofessional.  I shared with you an ongoing issue that many professional editors are dealing with in the industry in regards to being able to be backwards compatible with Adobe Premiere.  AVID which has been the industry standard has never had this issue.

Because Adobe does not offer you the solution you want, I am suddenly rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. WOW!
