New project in 2025. No audio waveforms anywhere. Makes it very hard to cut when dialogue begins, ends, or needs to get cut very close.
All the boxes are checked under the wrench menu that should be. Checked mapping and that's fine too. Clicked "generate waveform" under Clip menu.
Can't see on timeline. Can't see in source monitor. Four channels of audio and it looks like I have zero.
I opened the same clips in a new project in 2024. Same problem. No it's not the clips because the audio waveforms pop up with zero effort in DeVinci Resolve.
29.97, UHD, MXF OP1a files, XFAVC, Intra Frame
Multiple cameras. All different models. All same codec. All same problem.
First time I have ever had this issue after multiple projects with the same workflow.
Any ideas how to fix this.

Try closing Premiere. Launch while holding the Shift key down, and select the option to dump all cache files.

Thanks, but that didn't do it.

You're having some other problem also. Where you put the cursor at the start of the sequence and you timeline doesn't show. There's a thread around here somewhere about that. I don't recall the fix, though you might try the beta version and see how you do? Here's a link to the forum: Premiere Beta

There are so many issues that have come and gone today. I'm not working on anything that isn't holding me up. I wanted to get two things finished by 4PM today and I got one 90% done by 5PM. If I cut this on tape I would be done by now.

My issue persists. Can someone from Adobe maybe answer my question after two weeks? Very frustrating.

Is this happening in other projects, or only that one?
