I am having a problem where some of my clips are hitching and looping. It just skips frames and goes back really quickly randomly. I am also having a problem where some parts of my video that I edited just randomly shifted and now is not playing the right spot in the preview but if I click on the clip in the timeline, it plays the right thing on the source panel. Please help. I have done everything. I have restarted my PC at least 10 times, I have tried installing new drivers that Premier recommends, I need help. Nothing is working. I know that none of this makes sense. It is 1:40 am and I am tired.

I just got off the phone with Adobe customer support. The guy told me that it is because iPhones don't use "constant frame rate" I was having the problem with my iPhone video too. Any camera that doesn't use constant frame rate will do this. Premier doesn't support the other type of frame rate that some cameras use. In order to fix this issue, there is a software called HandBrake. When you use the software, make sure to select constant frame rate. It's simple to use the software. That is ho

This is exactly the issue I'm having, I was having trouble with this and I didn't know how to word it. I'm using 4k60 files from my iPhone and I'm experimenting with the cloning effect, it adds the effect but for some reason it doesn't export the same part of the clip that's in my timeline, if someone has an answer it's much appreciated

The only time a clip will "shift" is when your sequence setting is different from the original footage i.e as an example your footage was shot at 25fps and your sequence is at 30fps, but the shift wont be massive.
Can u share the codec used on the oriinal clips i.e what is the native footage settings and what are the sequence settings?
Also please explain how you created the sequence

So I used two devices to film. I used a DSLR camera that shot in 1080p60 and I used an iPhone X that shot in 1080p60. When I created the sequence, I dragged footage from my DSLR camera onto the timeline. The only footage that did the flickering was the footage from my phone. It didn’t do the flickering if I viewed it normally on my computer either. It has to be something with premier. I have used footage from my phone and camera before and had no problem so it must be a bug with premier.

Also, if you have a problem where Premier lags, it could be because you are using a 3rd party preset that isn't verified by Adobe.
