Hi everyone,

For the last few weeks i have been trying to figure out how i can put the effects from premiere pro in my own made maps. Is there like a way of copying and pasting these effect? I want to do this because then i can make my own organized maps to speed up my edit workflow. Hopefully someone can help me.

Hi @Die5FF6 ,

You can apply effects from the Effects panel by dragging it onto your footage.

If you have a clip which already has effects, simpley choose Edit Menu > Copy.

Then select the clip you want to apply the effect to, and choose Edit > Paste Attributes.

You can choose which effects you would like to paste in the dialog.

Let us know how you go.

Hi,

Thank you for you're awnser. But what i actually meant is like making my own maps in my effects pannel. So that i can for example put the vr blur and the gaussian blur in the same map.

Kind regard,

Dave

In the Effects panel there is an option to make a custom bin. (bottom right corner)

If you have several effects on a clip and want to re-use these over other clip(s) and in other projects you can make these effects into a Preset.

Select all effects in the Effect Control Panel by holding down control.

Right click and Save as Preset.

Hey,

Thank you for you're awnser. I have tried to make custom bins and this works good but the only problem is that i can not drag effects down when I'm holding them, and because my custom bins are beneath al the other effect maps it is not possible to put the effects in my custom bins. I will add a screenshot to make it a little bit more clear.

First I would not use Auto Levels it obsolete now.

If you just typed in Auto or Levels in the search bar, it will shorten the list.

Oo nevermind i thought this solves my problem but now i cant find my own maps when i type in a effect name. I think I'm just going to connect adobe itself because adding this feature can really boost premiere pro and make it more organized.
